 Sydney Opera House


 The Sydney Opera House The Sydney Opera House is the most famous building of Sydney. In this building you can see plays, ballet, opera or musical productions. It was designed by the Danish architect Jorn Utzon in 1957.





Jorn Utzon is a very import architect who has got an important impact in the arquitectura industry. He had won the Pritzker price in 2003 for his spectacular design, at turned into the person who now a days the young people look up to. 

Thanks to his amaizing job It was declared in the World Herritage List by the UNESCO in 2007 considering it a remarkable place to go and visit it.


Tours:


If you diceded to visit this espectacular place, you must go on tour. The tour is 60 minutes long and you would be with a professional that would explain you all. There are tours on Japanese, Germany, French, Spanish, Corean and Mandarin. You can choose the one that you like more. 

The prices are: Adult $48

                        Child’s $25. From 6 years old to 15 (Children under 5 years old they don’t pay)

                        Family pack $124. This includes 2 adults tickets and 2 children tickets (15 years and under)

So if you are a family of 4 you would pay $124. Less than if you have to do it separated.             


How to get there:


You can go to the Sydney Opera house by many tipes of transport. You can go by bus, train, ferry, car or walking. The best way is to go by public transport (bus, train and ferry)

The nearest bus station to the Sydney Opera House are: Museum of Sydney, Phillip St and Argyle Pl at Lower Fort St. You need to walk 5 minutes long to arrive to de Sydney Opera House.

The nearest train station is Circular Quay Station. You need to walk 7 minutes long to arrive to the Sydney Opera House.

The nearest ferry station are Circular Quay Wharf 2 and Circular Quay Wharf 3.


Sydney Opera House membership:

If you are part of the Sydney Opera House membership you would save a 20% of money in tickets, food, parkings…

To be part of Sydney Opera House you will ned to pay 110$ per year.





Mozambique


Mozambique is a country located in south-east of Africa. Their native lenguaje is the Portuguese. The territory has a large amount of mountains which make the country beautiful. They have been in war for a long time and there is a lot of delinquency inside of the political parties.








 After achieving their independence in 1995, Mozambique took place of the Commonwealth of Nation whit their first democratic elections.


They have participated in the Commonwealth games since they have entered in. They succeeded in boxing and athletics. In 2002 they won their first gold medal in athletics making and historical moment to the country.






 


 

 

Tradicional Games

They don’t have a lot of traditional games in Mozambique but they have one that is so typical and special. The Nyau dance.  

Nyau Dance

It was danced by members of the Nyau tribe, a secret society of Mozambique formed by men. In this society the married men were marginated so this dance was created in a way to include them in the tribe. It consist a man dressed with masks, plumes… and there is a rhythm maked by some durms. The man has to follow the rhythms dancing. They perform this dance in july, in weddings and in funerals.
